Integrity Wealth Management

PROFESSIONAL

When I was much younger, I would sometimes drive my parents and teachers crazy by constantly asking “why?” I was always curious, and a simple answer of “that’s just the way it is” never satisfied. I've embraced this way of thinking within my firm, always looking for ways to improve upon the status quo. One of my favorite quotes from Mark Twain resonates, “When you find yourself on the side of the majority, it’s time to pause and reflect.”

I'm passionate about helping people prepare for and get the most out of their retirement. This has been an ongoing mission ever since graduating from Central College in 2005 and joining the financial services profession the following year. I love to learn—whether it's from reading books, participating in study groups, completing financial designations, or attending financial planning conferences, I'm always striving to get better. One avenue this has led to is taking a deep dive into health and nutrition. I believe it’s important to integrate wellness planning with financial planning so retirees can enjoy the fruits of their labor without worry of health constraints slowing them down!

PERSONAL

I grew up in Lake Mills, a small town in northern Iowa. After attending Central College in Pella, I made my way to Des Moines and eventually found my wife, Ashley. In 2018, Ashley and I moved to Waukee where we now live with our three rescue dogs- Callie, Roxy, and Mr. Edward. When I'm not working with clients or relaxing with my family, I can often be found on the bike trails, a golf course, or enjoying anything outdoors. Ashley and I are also members of Hope Church in West Des Moines, and we're always looking for more ways to make a difference in the community.
