What will I do in retirement?

Retirees who delegate their financial planning to an expert have more time and energy to spend on things they enjoy. We know that having community and an intentional plan are important, so we’ve built our RETIREMENT READINESS™️ process to help with this.

What about forks-in-the-road and blind spots I’m not even aware of?

Our RETIREMENT READINESS™️ process analyzes the 14 biggest risks people face in retirement. This is an ongoing process we continually review, so you’re never left to make decisions without a trusted advisor by your side.

How We Solve Them

1. Intro Call

You share your retirement concerns and a bit about yourself. We'll share a bit about us and answer your initial questions. From there we mutually decide to schedule a Power Hour meeting or part ways as friends. We'll even help you find another advisory firm if we're not a good fit.

2. Power Hour

We discuss your retirement situation in more detail. This often includes statements, balance sheet, tax returns, and whatever financially relevant info you're comfortable sharing. This can also include your vision for retirement and goals you'd like to accomplish. Don't worry if you don't have all the answers, as our RETIREMENT READINESS™️ process is designed to help us get there!

3. Share Our Findings

This is where you see the results of everything you've shared up to this point, including the results of your 14 RETIREMENT RISKS. We include potential solutions if we're able to help.

4. Decision Step

Outcome A - For whatever reason, we're not the best match. If you prefer, we'll help you find another advisor.

Outcome B - We're mutually a great fit, and we'll review the next steps to proceed.

5. Plan Implementation

We will complete any new paperwork that needs to be signed and will help you link to any technology we will be using. After that, the rest of the work is on our shoulders.

6. Service Calendar & Strategy Meetings

We monitor and update your plan with an easy-to-follow service calendar, reviewing different planning topics each month. This way you accomplish tasks along the way in bite-size steps, rather than feeling like everything has to be done at once.

We also leverage strategy meetings because often time-sensitive issues arise that cannot wait for the next scheduled meeting. This could involve tax law changes, income decisions, Social Security and Medicare choices, or an endless list of agenda items that will come up throughout the life of our relationship.

Who We Serve

Those Who:

  • Want a trusted fiduciary financial planner on their team
  • Tend to be 55 or older, either retired or preparing to do so
  • Want an ongoing relationship with an advisor for each phase of retirement, and participate in strategical meetings as needed
  • Are transparent with their assets, income and financially relevant information so we can best serve them
  • Are disciplined and committed to follow our investment philosophy
  • We offer all retirees Medicare assistance and an initial retirement review; however, our ongoing financial clients tend to have $1,000,000 or more investable assets
  • Nice, optimistic people- this might sound cliche, but we will only work with genuinely nice people with whom we share a mutual respect

What if we're not a good match?

We’re not the perfect fit for everyone. If this is the case, we can introduce you to other professionals we trust (we have no affiliation nor receive compensation from any of the following):
